Our day was full of sunshine, warmth, and color rocking our favorite colors in every shade imaginable for Favorite Color Day. We continued working on our End of the Year Performance Costumes with Holly, had a ballet dance party with Dawn, built HQ's out of blocks with Dominique, and read lots of books with Chevy. We also built spinning rockets and helicopters out of our fort magic pieces, painted more paper bags, served baked macaroni and cheese in our restaurant, read with our Book Buddies, experimented with the seesaw, created treasure maps, and had a lively debate about a hole in the digging area with our big kid friends from the Davis Community School. Our yummy snack was trail mix, apple slices, and cheese. Listed below are some of the Vermont Early Learning Standards highlighted in our play. And, as always, please enjoy these captured moments from our incredible day! Love & Light, Dawn

Today was out of this world! We celebrated Outer Space Day, rocking tons of space, stars, planets, astronaut, and rocket ship fashion. We then went on a rocket ship adventure and explored Baby Virginia Planet with Dawn, made an obstacle course with Dominique, painted more bag decorations with Holly, and were Elsa's cleaning helpers. We also read books, built houses out of magnatiles, wore clever disguises, fed our babies our special dirt stew, went on a worm hunt, came up with theories to explain the mystery of the disappearing water in the hole, played chasing aliens, and spent some time getting to play with our new friend, Aimee, who will be joining us on Wednesdays next fall. Our scrumptious snack for today was chocolate chip banana bread, watermelon, and oranges. Please enjoy these photos from our magical day! Love & Light, Dawn VELS: - Domain 1.
