Happy May 1st, everyone! Despite the unseasonably cold weather, we had a fantastic day to start of our last month of school (how is this actually possible?!)! We excavated dinosaurs from the sensory table with Holly, painted with Dominique, played lots of games with Dawn, including a new one called "Musical Yoga Mats", and built some amazing out of blocks with Chevy. We also played super heroes, danced, built an ice castle out of fort magic, decorated Holly's end of the year dress, read lots of books, were teachers in a classroom reading to our students, and channeled our inner Mary Poppins! Our snack today was cereal with toppings and almond milk. Below you will find some of the Vermont Early Learning Standards interwoven throughout our play today. And, as always, please enjoy some photos from our day! Love & Light, Dawn VELS: - Domain 1.
