Today the Davis Studio Preschool was filled with lots of creativity, and cognitive thinking. We created a Family Classroom portrait with Holly, made sculptures of our families out of modeling clay with Dawn, played family with Tiffany, and started a band called the Sleepy Musicians with Elsa. At Community Gathering, we learned two new words: Inclusive and Exclusive. We talked about what the words mean and how we can practice being inclusive in our classroom. We also made more structures out of magnatiles, played an alphabet and number game, went for a nature walk, acted out a story about a witch, painted pine cones in the Outdoor Classroom, and played puppies in the digging area. Our delicious snack today was blue chips, carrots, cucumber, and hummus. Please enjoy some pictures from our incredible day!
Peace and Love, Dawn

The Classroom Family Collaborative Art on the canvas is so beautiful!!!. Perhaps we can make some prints of it for families. I want one. :-) The comments that students made while working on this piece added to my enjoyment and let me take a peek into what they were thinking while creating.
