Happy Monday! Today was filled with lots of imagination, focused collaboration, and problem solving. We built an elaborate and complex rail system as a group for bullet and commuter trains with Dawn, built castles out of blocks with Dominique, finished decorating our Mixed Up Alphabet Banner for Luncheon on the Grass with Holly, and made dandelion crowns with Elsa. We also had a tumbling dance party, served delicious food and coffee in our restaurant, went dandelion picking, had a car wash in the water table, built ghost traps out of magnatiles, hunted for ants, made dirt soup, busted out some crazy beats with our Pots & Pans Band, and made flower castles. Our scrumptious snack was oatmeal, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and apple slices. Listed below are some of the Vermont Early Learning Standards that were highlighted in our play. And, as always, please enjoy some captured photographic magic from our day. Love & Light, Dawn VELS: - Domain 1.
