Happy Friday and first of the month! And Happy World Read Aloud Day! We had such a fun time celebrating this wonderful holiday. We read 26 book aloud today with each teacher, and even Amelia's mom, having an opportunity to read some stories out loud to our students. And, for a special treat, we watched A REAL ASTRONAUT reading a book OUT LOUD in the international space station in OUTER SPACE (!!!) which brought our read aloud marathon to 27 books! We also painted some of our treasure with Dawn, made some more paper with Holly, continued decorating our chairs with Dominique, and started a water/ice experiment with Elsa. The day was also filled with structure building with fort magic, played some instruments, built a bed/sleigh/obstacle course out of blocks, drew more pictures on our windows, and had a freeze dance party. Our scrumptious snack for today was french toast, berries, and bananas. Below are some photos from our magical day! Love & Light, Dawn
