Adrienne: I want to sew a dress that is silver and gold. I can cut the thread all by myself and do all the stitching. I just need help with tying the knots. Jojo taught us a new shoe game that she learned "somewhere but I forget where". The rules of the game and the song shifted a few times, but then we got into the groove! E found the perfect material for a "Queen Elsa" inspired gown. When she was done she said she loved it so much she NEVER wanted to take it off! The paper doll fashion experimentation is still going on at the sewing area as the children are waiting their turns to use one of our "libbys" to sew on. We have a BIG performance all ready for the parents at our annual "Luncheon on the Green" and the children are psyched to create, design, sew, and wear original pieces! Franklin models his fancy broadway-esqe ball gown and Cormac shows off his snazzy new performance pants! Carter, Cormac and Evan designed some fabulous dresses on the paper dolls as well. A few more snapshots from our day:
